The Fourth Floor: Perry’s Office, Mail, and Donuts!

The fourth floor of the Planet has the same interior space as the third, but doesn’t include the exterior balcony “wings” leading to another narrowing of the models exterior visually.

It was a forgone conclusion for me that Perry’s office would of course be on the top floor of the Planet not including the dome and globe of course. I also decided to create an enclosed office for him that would have a door he could close to chew out Lois for something or other every few days. Additionally I added a small simple mail station and directly opposite a coffee station with a coffee maker, cups and donuts. I also included a water cooler of the same design as in the newsroom, and a news monitor so people on the floor could see news feeds like in the bullpen.

This floor also differs from other floors in that the stairs upwards are enclosed and not for general access. In this model they lead up to the top of the fourth floor roof behind the large dome capping the model.
